Do I need to create an account to place an order?

No you do not need to create an account to place an order with blueberryCOVE. You can select any product and add it to your cart then at checkout you will be asked if you want to SIGN IN with an existing account or CONTINUE AS GUEST. You simply check 'CONTINUE AS GUEST'. Any information you fill in after this will only be used for that purchase. If you return in the future, you will have to re-enter your details again to place an order.

What are the benefits of having an account?

What information is stored when I create an account?

When you create an account we store the basic information you entered about yourself. This is needed to make your shopping experience as simple as possible. This will include your name, contact phone number and any addresses you have set up. We adhere to the UK Data Protection Act.

Do you have access to my passwords?

No. Any passwords you create are encrypted and we don't have access to them. In the event that you forget your password, you can create a new one or we have the ability to create a temporary one for you. In the event that this may happen, we would then advise you to create a new password once you have access to your account.

Do you store my Credit Card or Bank details?

No. We do not store any credit card or banking information that you input when processing an order. Any information you input is dealt with directly by trusted online banking payment gateways such as Stripe and PayPal.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept Paypal payments.

Can I send a gift to anyone in the world?

Unfortunately, at this moment in time you can only send a gift directly to someone in the UK. We do not send gifts abroad.

Can I send the gift to myself to hand in person?

Yes you can, again, as long as you are a UK resident. When you Check Out, simply tick the box 'My billing address is the same as my shipping address' and we will send the product to you instead.

Can I order from abroad but send to someone in the UK?

Yes you can, however there are two types of fees that a customer might see when making charges with an unsupported currency or from a different country other than the United Kingdom or Pound Sterling (£)

1.Bank Conversion Fees 

If Stripe (the payment gateway we use) doesn’t support your currency, then our product cost will be converted into Pound Sterling by your bank. Your bank will add an additional fee that you pay to them.

2.Foreign Transaction Fees 

If your bank is based outside of the UK, then you may receive additional fees. This is up to your bank, so the exact behaviour might vary from country to country. Blueberry Cove Ltd has no control over any of the additional banking fees mentioned.

Can I send a gift to someone in hospital?

You can send a gift to someone in hospital, however, we strongly advise you not to. There are various reasons for this, for example: hospitals only having one address and no internal tracking system. If you send a gift to a hospital, it's highly likely that it will end up in reception and not to the specific recipient or ward. Your tracking number will only work up to the hospital post room and not to your recipient. Also, hospitals are very busy places and often don't have the time to deal with gifts or parcels.

If you choose to go ahead and send to a hospital we will try to contact you to let you know this information. If you decide to go ahead and send the gift to a hospital then blueberryCOVE Ltd will not accept any responsibility for the item not reaching the chosen recipient. To clarify, we strongly advise to either wait for the recipient to be at home or send the gift to yourself and take it to the hospital to guarantee delivery.

What are the Postage options?

Every gift box has Postage & Packing included in the price. To enable this just click on 'FREE SHIPPING' in the checkout process, although this should be the default selection. Free Delivery on every box includes Signed For 2nd Class Royal Mail. The usual delivery time is 48hrs from ordering.

We also supply the option to upgrade postage to 1st Class Royal Mail Delivery and Signed For 1st Class Royal Mail Delivery, at the Cart or Checkout procedure. There is a nominal fee on top of the included postage price to cover the extra cost for this service.

Your 1st Class Delivery Upgrade options seem much less than they should be, is this correct?

We work hard to keep the price of our gift boxes competitive for our customers. The fee applied to upgrade postage to 1st Class is based on the fact that you are already paying 2nd Class within the gift box price. The extra cost is all thats needed to upgrade your postage option and is simply the difference between the two prices. 

What can I expect once I place an order?

Once you place an order with us we will send your gift out within one business day. Any order placed on a Bank Holiday will be sent the next working day. Our working days are Monday to Friday. Further information can be found here: Order Information Guide

Will the person receiving the gift see any price information?

No. The person receiving your gift will not receive any price information or invoices in their gift box. They receive the gift and your gift card only. This is also useful if you send the gift to yourself to hand in person, safe in the knowledge your parcel won't contain any payment details when they open it.

How is each Gift Box packaged and what does it include?

Every one of our gifts is packaged to a high standard regardless of price. Each gift comes in blueberryCOVE signature wrapping which includes a box, tissue paper, embossed seal and ribbon. You will also get a gift card with your personal message. Each gift box comes with postage and delivery included in the price.

Can I return an item?

How do your Gift Certificates work?

If you want to send a gift to someone, but are not sure which one to send, you can purchase Gift Certificates instead and let them choose. The gift is then sent to them direct. To do this you click on 'Gift Certificates' at the top of the page and then fill in the details, your email, the recipients email and the amount you would like to spend. You can then add a message and a theme. You then Add it to your cart and purchase it in the same way you would a gift box. The recipient then receives your Blueberry Cove Gift Certificate in their email along with the amount they have to spend. They can then visit the site, choose a gift box and redeem the certificate for the amount you sent them. For example, if you send someone a £50 Gift Certificate they could purchase two £25 boxes, or they can spend the whole amount on one box. They do not have to use the whole amount of the Gift Certificate in one go, they can use part of it and return later to purchase another gift box if they wish.
